Vegetarians have plenty of options at the
Rainforest Cafe. Vegans are a bit more restricted.
If you're willing to wait in line, shell out some dough, and look at fishes in aquariums, the Rainforest Cafe in the MGM Grand on the Strip offers two vegan meals:
- The Natural Burger without the Safari Sauce
- The Morningstar Garden Grill
Remember to tell your server that you're vegan and don't eat meat, dairy, or eggs. On the plus side, the servers tend to be friendly (though often rushed and overworked) and
the animatronic Disney-like fake animals are ridiculously engaging. Besides, it's on the Strip, so if you're a tourist, you don't have to bother getting out into the real Vegas to get your veg on.
Kids tend to like this place :)
